I read first part of chainsaw man while it was still ongoing and it was without exaggeration one of the best (in terms of storytelling and pace) manga I've ever read. Ending was kind of shitty, but overall story and characters were easy 10/10. Recently I decided to read part 2 and holy shit it is garbage. Writing went from 10 to -10, it is so bad it feels like Fujimoto just straight up trolling on purpose. It's not only boring, it is also kind of schizophrenic. Like things happen just randomly and without any purpose. Character are forgotten 5 minutes after introduction. Plot doesn't really go anywhere and all big lore reveals (like death devil) is so underwhelming it is almost comedic. What the fuck happened? Does Fujimoto legit trolling?
