When did you finally realize that you put in more effort discussing CSM than Fujimoto cares to put in weekly

Did Fujimoto draw the characters first or did the assistants draw the background?

Retarded schizos kept trying to force stupid theories around Yoshida and none of them came true. In the ends, he was just a plot device with no character besides looking mysterious. Even Fujimoto doesn’t care about him

Probably a drawing or ink spill mistake and he and/or his assistants didn't have the time to fix it.

As glaring a mistake this is the dialogue is way worse than the art.
>"Remember when all these things that never appeared in the manga happened? Good times, good times."
>>
I never browsed /a/ during part 1. I had no idea what kind of a depressingly schizophrenic CSM had on here and I guess on twitter as well. It's actually mind boggling to me that anyone gets invested in a story by an author who seems to just be willing to do whatever he wants whenever he wants with no real concern for the audience.

This. It's insane how little substance there is to basically anything in part 2. Am I supposed to feel bad for Yoshida? I barely know him, I feel like fucking Himeno was a more fleshed out character, and she was only there for a couple of chapters
>>
>>281967018
Calling part 2 the academy saga was false advertising. We never even saw 10% of Denji’s school life despite what P1 set up. This moment between Yoshida and Denji was so unearned and to compare him to Aki of all things
>>
>>281967018
He's a full fledged fully developed character in fujos' headcanon and fanfics
>>
>>281966520
Last time they were talking they were discussing Yoshida killing Nayuta. Did Fujimoto just...forget? Genuinely what the fuck are these characters
>>
>>281967054
In Fujimoto's too, apparently. So maybe fujos were right. You SHOULD rely on the power of off screen, cause next time he will reveal Denji and Yoshida were secretly fucking too and there is nothing you will be able to say to that.
>>
>>281967052
Btw, Asa is an icon of Chainsaw man church. Remember that one, huh?

>>281967018
>I feel like fucking Himeno was a more fleshed out character,
Because she was
She had little screentime, but it was used very efficiently, she was a proper character.
Part 2 is longer than part 1 and yet the characters are all underdeveloped, if they can be called characters at all. Asa was the exception and she got completely sidelined

Why is it so common for mangaka to just simply give up and tune out emotionally from his/her work partway through the story?
Is it just a case of them being too ambitious and not realizing that they were in for a long commitment that they didn't have the willpower to see through?
>>
>>281968098
They get tired of working on something for years

For you.
>>
>>281966751
You see anon, the assitants draw the background, fujimoto just copypastes his scribbles in it
>>
>>281968147
Considering how often this burnout happens, I think the industry should make it so that any artist who wants to work on a manga that will take like over 2-3 years to complete has to finish at least a handful of shorter manga to prove how dedicated they are.
Of course, this will never happen, since the industry doesn't care about this shit. They only care about their immediate bottom line.

>Why is it so common for mangaka to just simply give up and tune out emotionally from his/her work partway through the story?
The answer to literally every single question you ask. Money. The series is popular enough he doesn't really have to put in anymore effort. This could have been a totally different story but he knows nobody would give a shit to his manga if didn't have chainsaw man attached to it, which is why the manga was so different from part 1 at start and now is too different again from its own beginnings because he backpedaled again

This doesn't happen often though, Golden kamuy was a series that was peak from beginning to end and never lost steam
>>
>>281966520
I'm still amazed by the huge difference in quality between part 1 and part 2 and it only gets bigger as time goes on
>>
>>281968718
>This doesn't happen often though,
It happens so often that the whole idea of "an absolutely horrible, unsatisfying ending for a long-running manga" has become a meme.
