Jokes aside, I’m not very fond of the current storyline.In most shonen manga, having humans fight among themselves while an external threat like the demons still exists usually makes for a pretty dull plot, and no one is really looking for that in Frieren.On top of that, it feels a bit strange that the Empire, despite having such powerful combat squads at its disposal, was still struggling against the demons.
