The aliens who are not so much evil as they are misunderstood, should've been written better as eco-terrorists.. I don't think summoning monsters to destroy a bunch of random shit and polluting the environment would convince the humans that they fucked up their planet.
I don't know why I am critiquing a 20+ year old shojo for children, but it used to bother me a lot since it made Sailor Moon seem like a better written story in a way.
