Young Magazine released a special issue a few days ago that contained 16 oneshots. All of them are a part of a vote with the top 5 getting serialized as a reward.I'm going to dump every one of them, in case anyone wants to read them or wants to vote on which one they want to see expanded.Today, it's The Knight of Blasphemy by Ray Kindo.Previous threads:https://desuarchive.org/a/thread/281917682/https://desuarchive.org/a/thread/281974516/
Going to start making these thread a little earlier.
>>282001183>Anti-religious crusadeHoly Based
a woman made this
>>282001183Extremely dumb hairstyle
>>282002800ENTER
And that was The Knight of Blasphemy by Ray Kindo.Pacing feels a little rapid but an interesting concept. Could be a set piece for exploration into theology.Don't forget to vote if you liked it: https://young-magazine-usa.com/And again, each day you can vote once. The Knight of Blasphemy is currently in fourth place. If it remains there by the end then it will be serialized.See you tomorrow for the next one, Protocol Ryugu.
>>282003210Third position incoming!
>>282003612So, current top 5 rankings are1. Still You2. Godmother3. Journey of a Dark Elf4. The Knight of Blasphemy5. FasciationSurprised Still You is at the top given it's BL.
>>282001183This had better be super gay.
>>282004083>Surprised Still You is at the top given it's BL
>>282004083Damn, Godmother was number 1 earlier.
>>282004083I'm fine with these for the most part. I'd really like to see To Dusk and Twilight in there, but slots are limited unfortunately.
>>282003612The art is decent and it'd be interesting to see a shounen exploring religious conflicts, though the setting does seem a bit dull at the moment. Still, I liked it overall.
>>282001343Clerics are the strongest class.
>>282005416It's shoujo as fuck
>>282003612The MC literally is femboy Tanjiro. No wonder why it's in the top 5.
>>282002017I dream of being caressed by giant man hands too.
>>282003612Thank you for posting, OP.
>>282004083just make it a BL and shoujo magazine already
>>282003210A new birth of fascism.
>>282001183and
>>282003612Seems pretty standard. The religious conflict didn't really grab me. I don't think the author has much in mind for it regarding complexity or depth.
>>282001148bump to read
Honestly, it will be extremely boring if the top 5 never change till the end.
>>282004321>This had better be super gay.>chokers>halter tops>exposed midriffsIt can't get any more gay.
>>282001148necrobump for your daily spam
>>282017587bump for trips reading
>>282019135Not to mention the femboy porn-tier waist-hip ratio of the protagonist or his face being Tanjiro's without the scar.
Just finished reading the whole thing. I like how some authors are thinking of serialization already as they write the oneshots as first chapters, instead of a contained story.
>>282005077Watch as it goes back to second place after Americans wake up.
Protocol Ryugu by Daisaku Tsuru
This just sucks
>>282028825Dunkleosteusbros....We're so fucking back....
>>282028855Could have more elegantly introduced the facial tattoo eugenics thing, over just putting in a footnote.
>>282029948Yeah, I find it jarring as well.
>>282029594>tfw this was one of my favorite oneshots of the list
And that was Protocol Ryugu by Daisaku Tsuru.Very abrupt ending. Even if this was the first chapter it doesn't seem the concept can be extended. Unless it is planned to be a short series.Don't forget to vote if you liked it: https://young-magazine-usa.com/And again, each day you can vote once.See you tomorrow for the next one, The Graveyard Shift.
>>282030723Can't say I was really feeling this one.
>>282028982>>282029023>>282029064That is wacky
>>282029080>>282029107The finest of caviar
>>282029241The mangaka really swung for the hills with this one.
>>282029336>>282029385>>282029404>>282029430I gotta give props for the imagination and the Loony Tunes style.
>>282029578Cuties
>>282029971Lovecraft is screaming from the grave.
>>282030260She's got that good thrussy
>>282030668Some people just can't win.
>>282030723Honestly I fuck with this one. The art isn't great and it is very scatterbrained, but I really appreciate the amount of imagination on display here. It is definitely not generic. Feels a lot like a throwback to the 90s and the golden age of Japanese sci-fi.
>>282027737Kek, you were right. Americans are gay as fuck.At least they are voting for the BL manga and not for the tranny story made by a tranny.
>>282038126Setting aside the transgender subject matter, I just felt like that particular one-shot wasn't all that well done. It's a sequel to an existing work and it basically expects you to have read that already to be fully invested in what is going on. Honestly, it doesn't feel like it really fits in with the rest, which act as either self-contained stories or the first-chapter of a new story.
>>282030723Thank you for posting, OP.
>>282001183Sometimes I forget how trashy most manga actually is
>>282038126what the hell is this..?i can respect the votes for godmother but really, is this some kind of organized brigade? theres no way people are this fucking tasteless man...
>>282004083>Surprised Still You is at the top given it's BL.Is it really surprising?
>>282028825hey, the sign outside promised lovely sexy girls
>>282029948Kishiro and Shirow love that footnote worldbuilding stuff
>>282030723Not the best, but I do love crazy scifi rambling
>>282038126I do wish they didn't display who the top 5 are. This will make people less likely to vote for the other ones.
>>282044915They said the Twitter votes count to, idk if they're already included in that ranking, but if not they may skew the results a bit.
>>282001148wat
>>282042991NTA but I haven't seen BL succeed like that often. Maybe I'm just clueless.
The fish story is like the prophet reboot from image comics
>>282036520It’s actually in line with his story.
