How am I supposed to cope with the fact that anime will never be made in cel animation again?
look for old anime that was never translated and bring them to light
You aren't. You specifically are supposed to kill yourself.
>>282024501you can cope by re-watching your favorite cel-animated shows (like kareshi kanojo no jijou) in an endless 2-year cycle.
>>282024501>pirate anime>industry can't afford the loses and has to use cheaper methods of production You're to blame
>>282024501What show is this?
>>282024501Enjoy the coming wave of cel-alike AI animation, that you could be making.
>>282025196just a random guess but looks like it could be LotGH
>>282025196>>282025366It’s all from Hunter x Hunter
>>282025538oh yeah i see now. i am mildly, just a tad bit, like just a teaspoon, retarded for not seeing that.
>>282024501you buy cels and hoard them
>>282025153No it is not. Some fuck decided to create a stupid debt spiral system in the anime industry to make his shit.Obviously this would only work temporarily, but it resulted in basically everyone adapting the system at the time.Additionally you have the stupid greed of the DVD and later BD releases. They literally put like 1-4 episodes about 1h of run time on those. This resulted in you having to buy like a 3 to 5 DVDs for a short running show when they could have easily put 2h a DVD or more on BD.At prices above 20€ for a DVD often even above 25€ it was simply not feasible for especially kids and young adults to support the shows.Much less long running shows. They wanted high margins per sale with high volume, but forgot that the main customer they target does not have the money. They could have gone lower in price and disproportionately increased the sales volume. At 10 to 15 bucks for a DVD parents would much faster be willing to accept shoving out the money for the kids. You might think legal streaming made things better, but it did not.Crunchyroll who claimed they would support the Japanese anime industry with the majority of their earnings instead decided it to spend the money they promised on translation and dubs that prioritized political messages instead of being true to the work. They ended going so far to use the money on their own political agenda cartoon.Netflix is not better, instead of producing Japanese works in Japan with Japanese people they have the Indian that wanted Apu dead in the Simpsons do and make everything fake and gay.But even then the west cannot stop.CDPR lost like 90% of the people that made it great and they now also hired sweet baby inc people who already talked about how happy they are to get through them access to Japanese anime studios like Trigger.

>>282025785tl;dr your writing style is insufferable sorry
>>282024501>how to cope?>stop whining>search for old anime>there is TONS of old anime>watch it all>b-b-b-b-b-le digital>stop whining>there is nothing you can do to stop progress>alsothere are shows like clevatess, that have that old anime vibe going on.>>282025785>CR>NetflixCR is a fucking disaster, netflix is not perfect, but at least they are better than CR by a mile. But netflix has yet to learn what makes an anime good. last thing I say from them was MOONRISE, while the visuals were extremely good, the story was a fucking narrative wreck. But at least they had some other projects backed by them that arent CR tier shit.>alsoCR and other activists will have to learn the hard way their time for being dicks is over. I dont like people losing jobs, but by "virtue" of being clout chasing virtue signaling bitches, many activists are pushing themselves out of the industry, now with AI translations, they will have no place to push their agenda anymore. Just look at their pathetic attempts to protests, by doing some stupid shit in the subs of some series in this season, and then nobody cared.
>>282025890Sorry, wrote down whatever I remembered at the moment while lying in bed without my glasses.>>282026235It is funny how CR is trying to defend their bullshit, like what they did with Dragon maid.
>>282024501by hoping AI gets good enough to replicate it
>>282024501Nice still images you got there, if only those things can moving at all.

>>282024501By moving on with your life and not dwelling on nostalgia
>>282025827>walls of texts of autism dialoguesThat's the good part about HxH tho
>>282024501Soon anime will be ai assisted and then fully ai generated and you'll be nostalgic about "soulless" digital animation
>>282027048>if only those things can movingSaar...
>>282027449It really isn't that big of a loss
>>282027178Oh shills coming out of their hole.
>>282024501Retards here have never seen this series, and thus fail to recognize all these images are from the same episode, and the show on average looked incredibly shit a majority of the time. >>282025785Retard.You show how little you know by having to raise CR and Netflix as examples (as well as the fucking Simpsons and game companies) and fail to reconcile with certain facts.First is that those 1-4 episode DVD/BD releases only come out in Japan. the west used to do volume releases, but those haven't happened in what, 15 years? The typical release outside of Japan will be a season set comprising 12 episodes, and later a combined full series set, and rarely will they ever be more expensive than $50- typically closer to $30. This is all also ignoring that this "stupid greed" is something that didn't start with DVDs, and was in fact, more common in the times before DVDs even existed, but you wouldn't know what. You probably don't watch anime.
>>282029462Showing your newnfaggotry not remembering suffering from the individual dvd releases for obscene prices.Sets were labeled as special limited edition with limited numbers and sold for even more obscene prices. The original box set of Eva cost like 400 here back in the day.
