Ironically the good parts of the manga/anime are the least womanly: Takemoto's journey and Morita's antics, while the more typical josei romance things are atrocious, like the insufferable and endless Yamada/Mayama/cripple love triangle, and especially the main blight of the story, that piece of dogshit character named Hagu, whose "character arc" consists on refusing to be a functional, non autistic adult and instead retreading into drooling toddler-like behavior, taken care of by her cousin and substitute father figure who is now also her lover. A typical woman moment from both the character and the author that is far from rare in this genre.OP I'd suggest you to skip this and watch Sangatsu no Lion by the same author, where she avoid romance for as long as possible and as a result is an infinitely better series.
