>2008-2016 battle harems >2015- 2025 isekaiwhat's the next new trend?I'm hoping it's going to be ecchi
They tried to made whatever the fuck Solo Leveling is a thing, but it didn’t work outside of Korea, same goes for regression and the weird chink cultivation shit.
your mom
>>282042890they need to revert back the old tried and true battle harems
Also VN adaptations from 2000-2007. People only remember a handful of the best ones and have forgotten how many drearily bland adaptations there were in the '00s.
>>282042890>Nukitashi is a battle harem, hentai VN, that has the MCs travel to a new world
>>282042890Perhaps aura farming for people who pity themselves?I don't think anime will change that much anyway. Echi and harem just merged with the new trendy stuff and never really went away completely.
>>282043350>implying nukitashi is the next anime trendsetter
>>282042890We already have the "new trend" and it's Rom-comsIt's always like that.Once the trend reaches the parody and irony levels, it crashes back to the roots and it starts all over againAfter rom-coms, rest assured that the next genre will be gun-girls and light sci-fi
>>282043614when will the ecchi mecha trend begin again
>>282043614rom coms are never a "new trend" they have always existed and have always been popular
>>282043655our only hope is Passione adapting Jinrouki Winvurga. We won't get any of the rape, but a lot of ecchi and implied rape would work
>>282043787That is not trueRom-coms technically died around 2012's as during that time, the only ones who cared about romance anime were womenIt was overwhelmingly shoujo romances.Male-oriented Rom-coms only picked up steam around 2018's with the likes of Kaguya, Dress-up Darling, and Komi-sanCoincidentally, those were the dates when Narou fantasy picked up steam and lost steam, respectively
>>282042890Isekai was a great improvement over battle harems.
>>282042890I'm more than sure It already started, it's the chink era.
>>282043787Sonobisque is more popular than Attack on Titan, I don't think that's normal
>>282044518It's true. And battle harems were an improvement over VN adaptations and Love Hina knockoffs. Trash media fads are only going to get better in the future.
>>282044518They really aren't. They're the same level of mildly enjoyable but mostly forgettable trash, with a few notable exceptions (subjective)
>>282042890>what's the next new trend?Yuri romcoms and Yuri slice of life.
>>282042890there was also the mini trend of magical schools
>>282044518hit and miss. Isekai has more consistent payoffs but at the same time the plots and setups are generally a lot less interesting with few of them making stuff feel earned or developed enough which weakens the payoffs. It's like the opposite of those battle harems where there usually is a point where there's enough setup and building but the payoff is a disappointment or it's straight up blue balls the whole time
