Anyway, that film can never be great to me because it was not made with any proper passion.
Porco Rosso has been my favorite Miyazaki film for over 15 years. The atmosphere of the setting is incredible. The plot is pure manly machismo with just a dash of romance. Before I die I want to travel around the Adriatic by sea plane.
Why does no one here like Totoro? I don't really like ranking films, but but my top 3 by Miyazaki would probably be something like Cagliostro, Totoro, and Kiki.
