Has the Real Prince Come at Last...?
Fuck Anne
I got bored when she became a teacher
ENTER
God what a bitch. At least hear him out, the dude mustered all of his courage for this moment, and you just brush him off like he's nothing. Seriously, I'm starting to hate this bitch with every episode. She truly deserves to be raped
>>282055513You didnt watch the best yet.
It's a fine enough nose.
>>282055513This is much kinder than what Phil does to men before rejecting them
>>282055526Wait, so in the end Phil doesn´t marry the preacher?
>>282055585At least she comes off as a harlot from the moment you see her. Anne is a good girl supposedly so I expected more from her.
>>282055513>simpThere's your problem. Bro was doomed from the start.
>>282055582>I don´t want him>Waaaa, someone stole my toy!!!
>>282055586No, she does eventually. Just not right now.
Anne was blushing like crazy for the guy and even dreaming about him leading up to this moment. Did Anne's little prince charming fantasy already run its course by the time he confessed? Where did he fuck up?
>>282055526Does this means prince charming is not in love with her? I dont see the "arrow" on anne´s side
>>282055629>Bro was doomed from the start.sure, but at least hear him out and don't treat him like a piece of shit. Bro probably killed himself
>>282055701>Where did he fuck up?getting infatuated with a 3D woman
>>282055703I'm not sure what exactly the nuances of the chartmaker are, because he definitely says he loves her in no uncertain terms during the episode.
>>282055526Anne and Gilbert dont end up together?!
>>282055757Anne is having her fun now before she settles
How did she /a/nnoy you in this episode?
>>282055796She rolled the cat.
>>282055757They do, but not at the moment of that image, I guess is just a relation chart like those you see at the start of a manga volume. we already know they have 6 children
>>282055796She finally revealed her true form
Oh, also, Anne is verified to be twenty years old for this episode.
>>282055964She was aready breedable a way time ago.
“Mr. Blake isn’t of the Alec-and-Alonzo type, Phil,” said Stella severely. “He takes things seriously. You may break his heart.”“Do you really think I could?” asked Phil. “I’d love to think so.”“Philippa Gordon! I never thought you were utterly unfeeling. The idea of you saying you’d love to break a man’s heart!”“I didn’t say so, honey. Quote me correctly. I said I’d like to think I could break it. I would like to know I had the power to do it.”
I don't know why but I cried here
>>282056076>Who the fuck is this bitch that stole my future husband!!??
>>282056037>I would like to know I had the power to do itAnd the only way to know it is by trying to break his heart.
>>282055714>Bro probably killed himselfMen were men back then anon and didn't kill themselves over small trivial shit like they do today
>>282055701He wasn't perfect like in Anne's fantasy and gave her the ick.
>>282055757Anne wants to have a train run on her before settling down with her backup.
>>282056076>Nnnoooo he's only supposed to simp for me
>>282055513Would you rather she scream at him? At least she's honest and polite with her rejection
Anne is quite frankly downright unlikable at this point. Aging her up was a mistake, and it's only going to get worse and worse.
She could always go back to the green hair and see if that works here.
I was waiting the whole episode for Roy to turn out to be a fragment of Anne's imagination
>>282056770Couldn't be my girl Judy who only ever blames herself
>Phil falling for a clergyman just because he's niceI don't believe this for a second. A vain girl like her fancying a poor clergyman?
>>282058287 “And this is the girl who would never marry a man who wasn’t rich,” commented Anne to a young pine tree.“Oh, don’t cast up the follies of my youth to me. I shall be poor as gaily as I’ve been rich. You’ll see. I’m going to learn how to cook and make over dresses. I’ve learned how to market since I’ve lived at Patty’s Place; and once I taught a Sunday School class for a whole summer. Aunt Jamesina says I’ll ruin Jo’s career if I marry him. But I won’t. I know I haven’t much sense or sobriety, but I’ve got what is ever so much better—the knack of making people like me. There is a man in Bolingbroke who lisps and always testifies in prayer-meeting. He says, ‘If you can’t thine like an electric thtar thine like a candlethtick.’ I’ll be Jo’s little candlestick.”
This whole episode is literally textbook example of how woman can fuck things up.
>>282058509Lets see how she unfuck the things in next episodes... how many of them remain?
>>282058287Have you seen his build? She is in it for the bed breaking sex
>>282058580He's a big guy
>>2820585653 more eps, so not that long.
Bros, it's finally time. My beautiful wife Diana is gonna get married next week and have lots of hot steamy baby making sex.
>>282058630Sounds like they're going to skip the Janet and Mrs. Douglas arc, not enough time to flesh that and have time for the primary story beats.
Threesome with Diana and Anne
>>282058880Compared to early episodes, even if you don't know source material, it feels like they skipped a lot. I mean this is still cohesive story, but some characterisation is stretched quite thin.
>>282059383You'd have to increase that to five, as Fred and Roy are going to jump in your bed too.
With only three episodes left I have to say as someone who knew nothing about Anne, I am glad I picked this show up. I don't watch slice of life but the serious storyline dragged me in. The OST is superb, and the characters are charming. Going from kid Anne to adult Anne was great too. I am glad I watched this. Probably my AOTY or very close to it depending on how it ends
>>282059662As another newcomer to the series, this has indeed been an enjoyable watch. However, fans of the old anime directed by Isao Takahata have rather disparaging remarks for this new adaptation, mostly due to the supposedly breakneck pacing of covering the events that happen.
>>282059787I'm a fan of the old 1-book-over-50-episodes series which I watched all of many years ago, and I do wish they had more episodes to work with in this one, but this anime gave us an animated Philippa Gordon and I enjoyed that more than anticipated.
I'm just sad they never got the budget for a new OP.
>>282060019To be fair, it'll be hard to top an OP directed by Naoko Yamada. Might as well keep it all the way through.
they better give the other books more episodes...
>>282060019The OP is amazing so I have no problem with that
>>282060285>Having Mathew going arround while being dead for 16 or more episodes.
>>282058595u uu u
>>282060404Jonas is so fucking lucky
Anne didn't deserve Gilbert before and she sure as shit doesn't deserve him now.
>>282055526>Jonas just there by himself, no arrows pointing anywherepoor guy
>>282055279I don't want this beautiful show to be over soon.
>>282059787I read a few chapters of the first book up to where I'd assume an episode 3 would end before deciding to give the new adaptation a shot cause I was curious how the Japanese visualized the story only to see they immediately cover everything I've read in the 1st episode. Like holy fuck I had no idea the adaptation would be this fast, or how girthy the first book must be to feel that rushed when given 11 episodes.
cgi men
I wouldn't advise Phil to marry a church guy. The sex is probably beyond boring
>>282063404My grandpa was a pastor and he had 13 kids. They make time for it.
>>282055757She's taking the time to "discover" herself and have fun before she's ready to settle down.
>>282055790>>282056330>>282063688So nice it had to be said thrice
>>282055279Anne is such a fickle slut
Stella is the only good gal around
>>282064331meanwhile she's got the sluttiest hairstyle
>oh gilbert, how COULD you be so selfish?>oh prince charming you finally caaaame~>actually, I'm not satisfied>why is glibert associating with this plump nosed whore?Red haired bitch, you are never happy
in an ideal ending, Giilbert lives a long happy life with Christine, Anne breaks up with Roy (who gets over it) and dies alone, and everyone who's ever been rejected by Anne lives their best lives and don't die in Europe when they get conscripted for the war(s)
>flowers and shitty poetryWere girls that easy back then?
Gilbert sure didn't waste time
>>282066258In that era? also, he was presented to her
>>282066113And in the utopic world it becomes the yuri story the author wasn't allowed to write.
The next time we see Diana she'll be very pregnant
>>282058287That's the point, she fell in love with someone who was the opposite of her ideal man, the kind of think Anne refuses to accept
>>282058287She grew up, thing that Anne didn´t
>>282066329And that is why you don't blend 2D with 3D
>>282067039But that's what made Mitama's show memorable.
>>282067039I disagree, pregnancy is beautiful, be it 2D or 3D
>>282067341cute
>>282066329Where are they going?
>>282067478Rabuhoteru in Vancouver because apparently moving around city after city for no reason was easy as fuck back then.
NO NOOOOO THIS AIN'T SUPPOSED TO BE HAPPENING. ANNE IS SUPPOSED TO BE PURE AND FOR GILBERT ONLY
Anne's red pubes
>>282059430>some characterization is stretched quite thinAgreed, that's been the biggest weakness of this adaptation's pace imo.
If this story was good, Anne would fuck things up with prince charming, except Gilbert really would get with the other girl, and Anne would follow in Maria's footsteps and die alone while Gilbert has several children and a happy life. But, unfortunately, this story was written both by a woman and for children.
>>282055279People would have been so mad if it was not for the novel spoilers. I wonder how people back in the day felt reading this for the first time with no spoilers?
Why are women like this?
>>282067039what's wrong with that
Painful episode full of woman moment, at the end even Philippa was surprisingly more decent than Anne and her obession for 2D. Anne and Gilbert could have stayed togheter without the NTR phase, funny how the two couple are basically a colour swap... an old trope rare (thankfully) now.
Another boring episodeThis went to shit after they aged her up
>>282066289Anne and Diana are shit people, staying togheter as a couple would be an hell of a punishment for them
>>282068550Just like irl girls...
"You should kill yourself now."Anne Shirley
>>282068641That's the charm of yuri
>>282066289The author was convinced it was just a phase. She was just portraying Anne's grow but yurifags are delusional as always
>>282068009I had absolute faith in Gilbert marrying Anne so i didn't mind
I already didn't like her as an adult but this episode cemented Anne as a BITCH. stupid red haired BITCH
>>282058287>2m tall>square jawnot surprising
>>282068009>I wonder how people back in the day felt reading this for the first time with no spoilers?Well, Anne and Gilbert are written in a way that they are very obviously the endgame pairing but i would still be seething
>>282060019Better having a good OP for 2 cours than the Witch Watch OP2 incident.
>>282068009The audience were girls self-inserting as Anne rather than neckbeards projecting as Gilbert so probably they were excited to see the development
>>282055279soIf he's so perfect why didn't he end up with Anne?
>>282069569Have you though that not everyone is a fucking kid that needs to insert himself in the story, just being an expectator is enough?
>>282069627Woman moment.Im more interested on how is Gilbert gonna break with the other seeing they are in good terms.
>>282056076I cannot think or comprehend of anything more cucked than having a childhood friend(girl)...
What's this expression trying to convey?
You know, when you ignore her 3D personality, Phillia is actually pretty cute. How many children does she end up having? She looks like she ius wild in bed
Anons are surprisingly mad at Anne. You people wouldn't last a day with a woman
>>282055336Is this guy gonna take Anne's virginity?
Muh dick
>>282060404Too many good Phil shots this episode to count.
>>282068009>I wonder how people back in the day felt reading this for the first time with no spoilers?Even back in the days a woman dating someone (kisses, handholdings, dates, no sex) was still considered pure. They weren't ready for purityfags of 2025.
>>282067678So is Anne used goods by the time she gets with Gilbert?
>>282067760Given the timeframe there'd be plenty. What age was Anne at the start of the story?
>>282070262only for the whores tainted by the city life, the countryside old ladies said clearly that they recognize the slippery slope that is going to ruin their gender
She's a witch!
>>282070068don't be fooled by crazy women
>>282058824Why is your wife not marrying you?
>>282070243woaw!
>>282070830We are in an open relationship
BRUTALMOGGINGalso, for the actual historians/social scientists here, when did couples back then&there start to fuck? how much did it vary based on class?
R18
>>282071235what a fucking slut
>>282055279Fuckin whore bitch, hope her "prince" gives her aids from europe and she dies. Met girls just like this. She'll fuck 100 blacks but acts prudish around the one that loves her.
>>282055701He simped too much and gave her the ick. Needed to ghost her and beat her up then get her hooked on meth.
>>282069197It's too late, fuck that bitch anne.
Anne gangbang
>>282055526Gilchad wins at the end and gets to pound Anne's applepie for 7 times.
How common was waiting till marriage to have sex in this time period? Diana is a virgin right?
>>282066113>and everyone who's ever been rejected by Anne lives their best lives and don't die in Europe when they get conscripted for the war(s)Everyone she's rejected (at least in the canonical timeline) would already be over the maximum age of conscription of 45 by the time the Military Service Act of 1917 was passed in Canada. She was born in 1865 and would need to be proposed to by someone at least 7 or 8 years her junior for him to be on the outside edge of the age bracket for that.
>>282074943well that's a relief
This guy really looks like Jervis.
>>282070068Two sons who are much later mentioned enlisting to go fight in WW1, no mention of any daughters or not.
>>282058287The nice guys finish last is true after all.
>>282063362Did CGI men really existed in the late 19th century?
>>282071186Gilbert's new bitch is way cuter. Ann can go to hell and take her E with her.
>>282075097Serious?
>>282070068Five, by me.
The pavilion's still there in a park in Halifax.
>>282075956Rilla of Ingleside, chapter 9:And, meanwhile, everywhere, the lads of the world rich and poor, low and high, white and brown, were following the Piper's call."Even Billy Andrews' boy is going—and Jane's only son—and Diana's little Jack," said Mrs. Blythe. "Priscilla's son has gone from Japan and Stella's from Vancouver—and both the Rev. Jo's boys. Philippa writes that her boys 'went right away, not being afflicted with her indecision.'"
>>282076270>Mrs. Blythe:3c>everything else:'(c
Now she's after a man of the cloth. She's the type to ruin him.The old bird is great. She'd be fun to talk to.Bro was shot the fuck down before he even had wheels up. Press F to pay respects.Ye olde umbrella that easily catches the wind.NTRman has arrived.I forgot how retarded his name was.Haven't heard that musical sting since gorilla girl.Anne's mind is now filled with filthy thoughts of getting plowed. She looks like a christmas tree.Lol, Phil will never be useful.Do the clasp then twist the necklace around.First kiss stolen.Fingers interlocked.Defeated the lesser male slinks of to find another mate.Way to be a cunt anne.
Gilbert came occasionally on Friday evenings. He seemed always in good spirits, and held his own in the jests and repartee that flew about. He neither sought nor avoided Anne. When circumstances brought them in contact he talked to her pleasantly and courteously, as to any newly-made acquaintance. The old camaraderie was gone entirely. Anne felt it keenly; but she told herself she was very glad and thankful that Gilbert had got so completely over his disappointment in regard to her. She had really been afraid, that April evening in the orchard, that she had hurt him terribly and that the wound would be long in healing. Now she saw that she need not have worried. Men have died and the worms have eaten them but not for love. Gilbert evidently was in no danger of immediate dissolution. He was enjoying life, and he was full of ambition and zest. For him there was to be no wasting in despair because a woman was fair and cold. Anne, as she listened to the ceaseless badinage that went on between him and Phil, wondered if she had only imagined that look in his eyes when she had told him she could never care for him. There were not lacking those who would gladly have stepped into Gilbert’s vacant place. But Anne snubbed them without fear and without reproach. If the real Prince Charming was never to come she would have none of a substitute. So she sternly told herself that gray day in the windy park.
Stories like these which chronicle a person's entire life have a strangely melancholic quality, like they're meant to be a reminder how fleeting even a fulfilled human life really is.
cute phil
>Diana was more pure than Anne
>>282080008At least Anne never got drunk.
>>282078054>But Anne snubbed them without fear and without reproach. If the real Prince Charming was never to come she would have none of a substitute. So she sternly told herself that gray day in the windy park.So basically, she had in mind that Gilber was a replacement for prince charming if this didnt appear?
>>282080323No, at this point Gilbert being actual husband material wasn't something she was even considering. She'd spent so many years growing up alongside Gilbert that him being the dashing mysterious Prince Charming she was holding out for was unthinkable.
>>282080182Drinking isn't a sin tho
>>282068009Women loved it because they see themselves in Anne and would act exactly like her if they were in the same situation. Men who read it back then were already keenly aware of how women act so are unsurprised by Anne's bullshit
>>282069946>not this shit again
>>282080519Drinking's permitted, drunkenness is proscribed.
>>282071235Anne could marry Gilbert, have a family with him, and have their entire lives together but she will always pine for her first---the one she couldn't have. Like Rose from the Titanic
>>282071186after marriage, but sluts and people could do it in secret i guess as long as they didn't get pregnant
>>282080849It wasn't intentional, unlike Anne allowing a man she knows for a day to corrupt her willingly.
>>282076234what a pretty photo
>>282055701He went too damned fast. Spend a little time wooing the girl. Especially in this time period. Courtship takes time. Anne is very modern but still is set in the time period. She doesn't want to rush to love she wants to "fall" in love. That is why she is torn with Gilbert and his new infatuation. She loves Gilbert but not in the romance you would expect so it comes off as jealousy.
>>282056299>>282072165Both of you are half right but need to take another ten years to figure shit our.
She's literally and figuratively wet!
>>282082355The knight in shining armor doesn´t anounce himself, he just appears.
>>282071186>cuter (x10) girl>better nose>not a ginger, therefore, their kids will have a soulGilbert is the real winner here. I don't care, this is the true ending.
>>282082869Love wears off when reality appears.
>>282082355Anne is too high maintenance. Not worth it. Made for pump and dumps.
>>282076270Hmm, hope nothing bad happened to them
Imagine Phillia was your mother. Would you feel ashamed?
>>282084992she'd be a cool mom
Anne rape
>>282084992she would raise a madame bovary
>>282055526And this is why I don't usually consume media for women.
>>282055526wait a second it was a harem anime all along?
>>282088541I bet you would think differently if the MC was a man you fucking son of a bitch
>>282089761MC ending with the girl he ignored after she gets married and plapped by another man? No thanks, cuck.
>>282089761Ahem,a key that opens many locks is a master key, however a lock that gets opened by many keys is a shitty lock
>>282055748Maybe he is a "player", and only wants to "cum and dump". Other thing, the shitty google translator calls him royal gardener. is his job?
>>282091950Said by a key that opens no locks
>>282092533>royal gardener. is his job?as much as Anne Shirley
>>282093487projection and ad hominem
>>282070392>>282071186>Anne somehow defeats this stacyI can see why girls loved this
>Already a nervous wreckHe will die a virgin. Women want someone CONFIDENT
>>282098295b-but chuds told me it was not like that in the old days
>>282098518He's asking women out so he's already doing better than you.
