Manga as always.
The anime is a terrible adaption. In case you didn't know already, it's made by Mappa. That should be more then enough to convince you to avoid it.

From a fan, trust me. The anime doesn't capture the style of the story. Its pacing is wrecked. Side panel jokes are placed front and center. They change every fight for the worse. They break canon rules. They REMOVE shit randomly including one of my favorite scenes. They also add fujobait randomly to anything they can, fuckin' corpo-pigs.

The animation isn't even impressive. The manga is genuinely better animated.
