imagine caught using ai
>>
>>282109173
you faked that picture using AI
>>
>>282109173
Why do people post basic animation errors or inbetweens and call them AI.
Like, what do you think happened here? Do you think they animated a scene with AI and then cleaned up all the unique frames except one?
Are people gonna post shit like Sasuke's head spinning upside down and going "I can't believe they used AI animation back in 2004!"
>>
She's actually a cape character named RacketGirl
Her hand can transform in to a racket enabling her to hit any kind of ball or spheroid object.

She fucking lost her arm and went so far as to transplant a fucking racket to the stump because she loves tennis so much and WHAT FOR??? JUST SO YOU COULD SHAME HER, OP?
>>
>>282109173
So I checked Jap twitter and it's fucking real?! The absolute state of anime...They didn't even bother to manually correct it.
>>
This is the future of tennis
>>
>>282109313
The way the fingers are fused together could imply AI, doesn't look like they just erased the other hand since there's not even grip length for it.
>>
>>282110363
It's just an unfinished frame that got rushed to completion to meet a deadline.
It's very clear that the only thing not drawn was the hand, and maybe it was because it got outsourced or because they were on a tight schedule, but whoever was cleaning these just went "Welp, not my problem" and finished the frame before submitting.
This is something that has happened for decades.

>>282109173
Imagine giving two shits about the workflow of some random ass studio making CGI anime.
>>
>>282110126
Nani???? Anon checked it and it's real?!!!! This is outrageous!!! they need to fix it!!!

Holy shit all those picutres look ai generated
you can't make this shit up
>>
>>282110631
Weird thing the director even chose a close up.
>>
>>282109313
a human wouldn't randomly merge her arm into the racket lmao
>>
>>282110829
See >>282110488
The frame is cleaned and finished by someone else. The hand wasn't finished in that frame and so they just left it as is.
That's it. This is a tale as old as animation itself.
>>
>>282110829
Yeah he would.
The tape on the racket handle looks just like common athletic wrist tape.
If you're drawing in a rush or drawing the illustration part by part rather than holistically, having a brain fart over athletic tape on a racket handle being a wristband and just ending the second arm there isn't that weird.

Pretty important context here that this apparently isn't an in-motion frame, but rather one of several stills used as a prop in an otherwise CG show. In that setting AI actually is the most likely explanation, but it also doesn't exactly imply anything outrageous about the wider industry.
>>
>>282111123
>>282111171
What is the argument here? That because distorted looking images were created with conventional methods this clearly AI generated image isn't?

>>282109173
Even if the hand could be explained as human error the racket has that AI blur to it.
>>
What do you call this affect that people think things that aren't AI generated are AI generated?

effect

I'd be more concerned by the text on the magazine cover and the basketball uniform.
>>
>>282111086
>>282110488
You say it's an unfinished frame, but if it's getting a close up and focus then I don't buy it that it's just a quick animation error that you're not supposed to notice like the blur of an inbetween frame.
>>282111500
Just means that shitty quality and AI are equivalent. Either way it should be mocked.
>>
It's a 3D CGI anime. It doesn't have manually redrawn or cleaned up frames.
The tennis illustration is 2D but it's not animated per se, it's just a still on a background.
>>
>>282109173
Based, I might watch this show now
>>
>>282111500
I suspect that people who use social media a lot have become very paranoid about any image or video possibly being AI generated.

>You say it's an unfinished frame, but if it's getting a close up and focus then I don't buy it
Different anime productions have different standards.
Again, decades old thing. Errors are errors. If staff are just quickly drawing things and then quickly checking things to meet a deadline, shit will suck.

Fucking bleak.
