What are the best mecha anime?All I've watched in this genre is Eva and TTGL and I know both are not exactly typical examples

Eva is the best anime that contains mecha, but it's not mecha in the same way other mecha anime are, so try Gundam '79 or Gridman -> Dynazenon something I guess
