Urd has an ex so she's a slut under modern otaku standards. My tinfoil hat conspiracy theory is that Mahler was originally conceived as a guy and K1's rival for Belldandy. It makes sense because AMG started as an Urusei Yatsura fanfic and Rei exist. Also Mahler was introduced as a man and Belldandy's ex but it's retconned into a girl. I bet Fujishima's editor cockblocked him because Belldandy's purity was the manga's selling point so she couldn't meet a guy before K1. Fujishima accepted but got his revenge in the movie

OVA I believe. I think there was a manga chapter similar but it was never revisited. The anime at least have Urd open the possibility of a future relationship with him. They should make a sequel where grown up Shohei meets Urd again.

While the main inspiration of AMG come from nordic mythology, it has some Hinduism too so I assume Urd is a jeet. Of course if Hollywood ever make an AMG live action, Urd will be black for DEI

This was a cute series before the shitty twist, i love OVA opening and the 2006 first ending, even the intro for the 2007 and 2010 were cool, maybe it was a blessing the rest was never adapted.
