How did Hibimeshi carry on the legacy of Yuru Camp better than Mono?
Both of them were good
Hibimeshi promised cooking and delivered cooking. Mono promised photography and spent 2/3 of the series doing anything else.

It doesn't make sense for them to plan the prank so early. And all that buildup and resolution for a half-finished prank movie was quite anticlimactic.
