I’ve never cried to any sort of media before. Am I gay now?

>Am I gay now?
Yes. And also very easily manipulated. Oda has that way of writing nearly every dramatic twist and character backstory, and every character reaction is exaggerated to a degree that makes it look farcical instead. It makes me hate his writing with a passion.

Real men cry when watching One Piece
Idiots ask if than makes them gay
I diagnose you with himbo: heart of gold, brain of fruit fly
>>
>>282199783
No you are normal. I felt the same way there.
>>
>>282199996
You just sound like a cynical faggot.
>>
Wait for kuma backstory
>>
Why?
>>
>>282199783
Usopp vs Luffy was more sad than this

Or just someone that can read past the level of a tenth grader. There's so many manga out there that handles emotional tone better.
>>

>Says they are past the level of a tenth grader
>acts like a child when called out
Post here when you are past the age of 18.
>>
>>282200448
Called out in what? I didn't say Oda's writing of emotional moments suck because feelings are for kids, I said they suck because he's not very good at writing them and tends to make them over the top melodrama.

yup havent cried like that in my life. I had no expression just a lot of tears falling.
>>

nope you are just human and nothing else at least more human then people saying otherwise.
if it was american or western media, yes put in doubt your manhood checking straight porn for months and checking if you get hard watching sexy girls on their peak masturbating, if you don't get reaction then clearly you have issues.
>Did you watch porn male on natural born woman?
>Did you get hard?
>Did you watch a girl on her peak X6 years old masturbating and got hard?
>If all yes you are straight
now other test
>Did you watch fat ugly woman getting fucked?
>Did you get hard?
>Do you like fat women?
>Have you watched old women porn?
>Did you get hard?
>If yes to any of that you are gay without doubt.
Brainwash yourself
>Watch straight porn each day, minimum 4 hours.
>Watch sexy X6 years old girls masturbating.
>Masturbate while doing that.
>Keep going on for months
>After 3 to 4 months you will be as straight as an arrow.
>Brainwash success!!

>Wow, I never understood how bad the Holocaust was until I saw the fear in Pinkie Pie's eyes!

No. Enies Lobby is the best arc for a reason. Oda did almost everything right there (except for the silly doriki system which is easily forgettable).
>>
>>282199783
Ppffft...

How can you cry to One Piss? No matter how "sad" the scene is, the delivery and art style are so off-putting that I can only laugh.
>>
>>282199783
It peaks around here. Things don't become horrible but less and less grounded so it loses the previous impact.
>>
>>282199783
Thank god he didn't draw her snot

Honestly, my problem with One Piece isn't that it doesn't have these emotional hard hitting moments anymore, but rather that these moments have way too much baggage and builtup between them that they just don't come out as consistently anymore. Oda still manages to throw out great stuff like "Raizou is safe.", "He laughed.", or that page of Kuma running throughout his life. But his world has become so big that he has to juggle too much stuff at the same time.
>>
I don't have much to say about this topic, but it really is exciting to see Oda close off his magnum opus, especially since as (>>282204665) said,
there's so much to juggle. The ending is the hardest part to pull off, I wonder if he'll succeed.

Honestly if a story can't make me giggle, cry and stress out at at least one point it's not the one. Invoking emotions strong enough to cause physical reactions is a hell of a drug and I don't want to miss it.

If it works for some it works.

>crying for forced cuckshit
>>
>>282199783
One shit pulls so many tearjerkers setup shits, it is bound to work sooner or later. they feel comical mostly but sometimes work as intended
>>
I cried a lot during One Piece. God bless Oda.

Anime is one of the few mediums that actually manages to make me cry.
