Dumping the latest chapter's raws."Hostess (1)"
It begins with /ourguy/ Charlie complimenting the girl and asking them to be blindfolded during the journey to the secretive work site, since it's packed full of celebrities. Once done, they drive off as Hama recollects what happened immediately after the last chapter:Debora elaborated on Q's connection with Hama's disease by showing her a picture of someone she doesn't recognize, but is in fact her mother. We don't see it though.
After a while, they arrive at the "celeb mansion", and after a few more minutes of walking in the dark, Charlie removes their blindfolds.
It's a wine-making masquerade, I guess.
"What the hell is this?"And we get the job title: hostess.
The guy Yume was paired up with explains that its sacred wine. After the ripened fruits are crushed, they'll make fruit wine from the juices and offer it to god(s).Yume asks what type of gathering this is, but the guy can only say "Pleasure" before being interrupted. I should add that this "pleasure" can also refer to the bliss one feels after attaining Buddhist enlightenment.
Some footfag enters the picture, explaining that this gathering is to appreciate women crushing rotten fruits under their feet (he literally says this).He starts getting touchy-feely with Yume, saying she should do it too, because he prefers women right before they get dirty.
Thankfully, Yin deescalates the situation, and the footfag goes away while grumbling that he used "san" instead of "sama" while talking to him.
The guy then apologizes to Yume, saying that, despite how suspicious it all is, this isn't "that kind" of party. He also adds, "He (the footfag) must've been a little nervous." This confuses Yume, but unbeknowst to her, we see a guest take one of the women deeper into the building.
Meanwhile, Hama notices there's a child in the building. She appears to be surrounded by four guys, almost like they were bodyguards, but maybe it's just meant to represent a crowd.
Especially considering she suddenly ended up in the ceiling.Back to Yin, he meets up with Jin, saying that the guests are surprisingly gentlemanly, so there hasn't been much trouble.
But what Jin really wants to know is about Yayoi Kokuryou. However, Yin reminds him that finding where she is is Debora's job, their turn is yet to come.In a flashback, Debora explains that what she finds most worrying about Yayoi is the fact they don't know her objective or what she's doing, with a single exception. They've learned that she's looking for someone.
That someone being Nijimura.Jin wonders if he should trust her, considering he's never heard that name before.
The guy Yume's with starts talking about all the luxuries he's indulged in. Ridiculously expensive wine and food, multiple mansions, a journey across the world, but eventually, he got bored of it. He laments the fact human desire has no limits.
Because if there was a ceiling, this party wouldn't have had to happened.That's it for now. Next chapter next Friday.
