It's crazy how much the author misread the reception of the two main heroine characters. Obviously the one who's decisive and upfront about their feelings is gonna be the fan favorite over the one who just "exists".

The MC has to practically do flaming backflips of thoughtfullness and courtesy to even get her to consider him as a romantic interest. As soon as he burns out from his frankly superhuman levels of devotion that she's become accustomed to, she's gonna think that he doesn't care anymore and cause a problem.It wouldn't be so bad if this were a one heroine show where she's presented as the only choice, but there's another girl who likes him for all the right reasons and is actually present and forthright with her feelings.Now if the latest chapters are anything to go by the author is going to have to perfom THE character assasination plot of all times just to shoehorn her intended pairing through.
