That is a really weird thing to say, 4x fundamentally is based around armies and army compositions where each unit does need to have a counter, and it is very much about strategizing and countering the enemy units while also destroying the enemy base.RPG really doesn't have that limitation, and most of the limitations can be bypassed lot more easily, and you can build some incredibly broken characters with the right equipment, spell sets and skills. If anything, RPG characters should be stronger, to keep the stakes on Mynogra side, going against much stronger opponents.

Then Havencraft can summon the literal armor of god, which is also immune and invincible and my absolute favorite card - Enstatued Seraph, a petrified angel who breaks out after a number of turns and then you just win the game (this is a "amulet" card with no HP btw., if enemies don't specifically have something that destroys that, good luck, because it can't even be targeted by combat).
