>>282259741Done.I liked it because it was pretty cute and the main girl is absolutely smug.
>>282259774thx OP, I liked it too, but I'm not getting my hopes up that it'll survive
>>282259851Me neither, this I feel would survive in jump+.
>>282259774Thanks for the dump, anon!>>282259851>>282259880And maybe on Sunday too. It doesn't feel like it belongs to WSJ; perhaps Saito really wants more rom-com in WSJ.
>>282259220Is this a citation to something a manzai duo once said? There was a character in show ha shoten who said the exact same thing
>>282259972>SaitoWell yeah, Sorachi foretold it years ago in Gintama, Saito is really into romcoms
>>282259670I can't believe the Japanese can't joke and can't cook at the same time
>>282259774Thanks. This is cute. Will keep an eye on it.
>>282259975isn't it a song? by some comedians? Not Downtown, I think. But it feels like something Hamada would sing
>>282260007you should send this to the radio
>>282260007So what's the deal with Japanese food?
>>282260346It's fucking RAW! every Monday night
the final boss will be Kiryu, right? it will be a love triangle between 2 high schoolers and a 50 year old ex-yakuza, on the battlefield of comedy radio
>>282259098I've seen a girl with this jellyfish haircut irl and it looks pretty stupid desuu
>>282259774yup, this is kino in the makingjust add another female love interest and it'll feel right at home in wsj
>>282260424It will be Honey Boy
>>282258910>he's terrible at comedyto be fair, so are all Japanese
>>282259343Did she randomly just do the absolute cinema in front of her meal like Osanai?
This whole chapter reminded me of one of the early kaguya-sama chapters, with prez training super hard to not suck at elementary school level riddles.God I miss the early half of kaguya.
so, author a self inserting female or a potato connoisseur?
Cute chapter. Feels like a one-shot though.
>>282259182being funnier than Japanese humor..... what an impossible, insurmountable quest... who could possibly achieve that...
>>282259291She's a bit of a bully
>>282259415His cat like icon is cute
>>282261277Owl, anon, he's fukumori (owl and forest, thus his nickname). Just like she's kurage (jellyfish)
>>282258779>Show-ha Showten>but the main characters have sex with each otherI'll give it a shot!
>>282258779this feels like one of those stories that won't translate well into english, I only laughed at 1 or 2 jokes at best, I have to assume some of the jokes are japanese word play
>>282263628If they use the joke stuff as a backdrop for the story and character interactions it could still work, like you can enjoy Destroy All Humankind even if you're not familiar with MtG
The nips are right. It's sorta cute but this is one shot tier.
>>282259257Never meet your heroes.
>>282259774her faces are good, rest of it is inoffensive
I didn't like any of the jokes :(
>>282266170
so what's the endgame other than the romance if they don't axe it? do they become a comedian/manzai duo? radio hosts?
>>282262496>implying show-ha shoten wasn't fujobait with both mcsToo bad the style got worse.
>>282258779This is too cute for jump.
>>282266513>implying show-ha shoten wasn't fujobaitI would have liked that to have been the case. The relationship between the protagonists felt pretty empty, maybe that was the point, since they themselves said they considered themselves partners rather than friends, but it was still pretty dull. Same with their personality, the girl who played the manager for literally no reason and contributed nothing also felt artificial. Even Kaya's reason in bakuman of "well, I like Takagi" was more honest. And the same extends to the duo's relationship with the rest of the cast and rivals, it's a shame because the Drama Namek flashbacks the author came up with for every secondary character were pretty good
>>282258779Ehhh out of 10
>>282260565and what's good comedy to you?
>>282268398Cow Tools
>>282268534google translate.
