The original language is usually the best option. Often, aside from a couple main characters, dubs feel more like simple voice over instead of actual voice acting.

If I ever host a Group Watch I tend to consider what'll be the best for the show, 95% of the time I'll still do sub, but recently watched Baccano! and Odd Taxi's dubs, which were pretty good, felt like they fit the feel of the shows. (Odd Taxi less so, but in such a dialogue heavy show I think it worked)

Bingo if you nail all of them.
I like to watch subbed even when that doesn’t seem to be the popular option because you often get more content (I watch a lot of kodomomuke) and I can recognize several Japanese words in speech.
