I think there’s just one more chapter for this volume, so some big twist is coming next week.Either:1) there has been a notable time skip, and she returns home to confess to Okarun, only to see a lot has changed because everyone thought she was dead. Revealed that in her absence, Aira confessed to Ken and convinced him to move on.2) Momo returns home but people have legitimately forgot about her. The yokai like Turbo G, Evil Eye and Mei do still remember her which briefly hides what the problem is. The rest of the humans show up and she scares Ken specifically when she tries to confess to him. Aira gets mad, demanding to know if Ken is cheating on her, and he swears he’s never seen this girl before in his life.3) Momo’s own memory is gone and she can’t recall anything. She begins to serve this group as a follower due to having nowhere else to go. Back home the group are sat around their Master Seiko’s house where Koki is being trained. Jiji wonders aloud how the others even found out about Seiko in the first place. The way Tatsu has structured this entire arc/journey means that the ritual, the window of time, the cult, the hammer, the shrine- all this was of the utmost importance to properly reverse the curse. We even had an omake of Turbo Granny looking for alternative solutions. The fact that we had Momo changed after a tragic farewell and then abruptly discovered and brought to the shrine conveniently by a group of cultists we haven't been properly introduced to who had already solved the other curses off screen. None of that strikes you as having unfolded in a conspicuous manner? You're not at all suspicious why these elements that Tatsu went on and on about the importance of are now introduced and the ritual is completed within half a chapter? How the fuck is this thread filled with so many people who just want to take all of this at face value? Is the collective belief in Tatsu's talent so low that it's just assumed this is the best he could do

It's not like these priests could go anywhere, so the journey and effort to get at least close to the temple was worthwhile (plus presumably it was by curing Zuma and Denki that they knew to go look for Momo as well).
