Finished it a while ago. It was obvious this show was just Yuasa flexing his animation and direction skills in the weirdest way possible. It has issues, but liked it nonetheless. It explores it's concept in a thorough manner, and i enjoyed the episodic tragic planet adventures. But i would be lying if i said i didn't wish the show focused more on Warp and Union. Feel like the last episodes were speed running all that because they spent too much in the planets and the space ship.My favorite episode is probably the one where Vanilla dies because of that final scene, and the flashback one, because i really liked whenever warp was on screen and was not ammnesiac. Also, the music is really good. What did you anons think of it?
Great show. Not going to microanalyze rhetoric points because I have a life. Just enjoy stuff that you like.
The standalone episodes are amazing, but it falls off a cliff when the main plot starts and it doesn't have nearly enough episodes left to pull it off. Some things like Popo dropping his mom's chip while riding the elevator are unbelievably stupid.
Zoomers say the stupidest shit.
>>282284329100% agreed. The episodic episodes were great, but then the ending felt rushed.Honestly Mind Game was the best of the early Yuasa works because he wasn't trying to have much of a story, just pure visual trippy fun which is what he's best at.
