If this series was primarily digital I dont think it'd be as bad, but time and again I notice that Oda seems to give zero fucks for the reader that might be reading this in a magazine and doesnt account for the gutter. Every time I see him use 2 pages for 1 scene but draw it so that it takes up a full page on one side and then maybe 20% of the remaining other page like >>282310735 it kicks my autism into overdrive because the gutter of the book is just decimating how both these pages would look.On the flipside, during the Undead Unluck storytime I noticed that the mangaka almost religiously tried to keep important bits of spreads away from the middle of the pages, even going as far to space out the middle of title drops in a way that wouldnt get eaten by the guttertldr its bad panelling but its also nothing new for Oda by this point

The threat downgrade the BM pirates have been given this single arc later is rather conspicuous.
