some people are theorizing a timeskip because 1. momo appears bigger/taller and 2. her hair seems longer. now its possible it could just be the perspective making her seem that way or tatsu messing up her size. as for the hair, maybe thats just a side effect of the ritual.everything we saw in this chapter is odd. the entire town changed to a field? empty space is just the reflection of the original area. could it be a cloaking device since they were aliens? sure but an entire town? doubt it. even momo questioned it. vamola was nowhere to be seen. also odd. momo ends up disappearing meaning time ran out for her. but suddenly a group happens to show up after that heartbreaking moment? seemed sudden at first but the more i thought about it the more it felt like a certain amount of time had passed.but the masked man did mentioned her 2 friends had already concluded their ritual. if she did go back to the past, how would they know about momo, her friends, and to do the ritual? if we assume only a few minutes had passed from the moment the scenery changed to when momo disappeared, that seems way too quick for that mystery group to have found her. its not like they knew where they were right? jiji/seiko went to the hospital and the place that smoke guy took them to was fake so its not like anyone knew the exact location. thats why it feels like a significant amount of time had passed from the moment momo disappeared to the moment he mystery group showed up.

I dont really get why people find this manga interesting, apart from good art.the fights are nonsense noise, no tactics or setting up things that pay off later. I mostly wanted them to end sooner, its not like I'm immersed in the danger the pov characters are feeling in the situation when the guy is holding his groin zooming around in water. the powers borrowed from spirits are cringe and the confusion about when are they usable adds to the fights being lame.The scenarios are written a bit too simplistic as in they're written to appeal to young children. Adult characters youd expect to make sensible comments act like bratty teens to be on the main characters level + aliens and spirits are on the level of a slapstick mascot character. You get drama derived from someone acting insane + misunderstanding comedy. Its flimsical, nothing is serious or sad and the writer pulls their punches. A nurse asks the characters if they're bullied with a baseball bat as in shes going to go and assault a student if they just give her a name. I am guessing that Momo was forgotten by everyone.
