The new Spice and Wolf series is adapting the same source material, so I am waiting untill the new series hits its third season, and then I will start watching it as though it is the third season of the OG show because the OG show was kino and I don't care about seeing it redone, I want to see it continued.
the original skipped one of the books, so you would want to sandwich those from the remake in with the original, which would probably be a bit strange

The remake is better than the original in pretty much every way. Better art style better music better VA. The only thing is it has some poor animation at times especially when alot of people are on screen at once. Just rewatch the whole thing since this is 1:1 faithful to the LN.
