>Yugami-kuns's mangaka started a new series this year
>Not a single scanlation group picked it up
Can we have a thread where we talk about manga with dead/no translations?
>>
>look, another entitled choosing beggar thread
You know, why don’t you work on it yourself instead of asking for people to put in countless hours of doing it for you?
Scanlation isn’t exactly rocket surgery, but everyone wants to read shit for free without putting in any effort themselves.
>>
Do you actively pay attention to what gets translations?
I only check whether a series I read is translated when I consider recommending it.

Chihiro carried it. Does this have a Chihiro?

What are you even whining about? If you don't want to do something just don't do it. Nobody cares.
>>
>>282326496
He's just trying to start conversation about manga that has no translation, not even begging for someone to translate it. Why are you being such a bitch?

so many problems for OP

You can just learn Japanese, then you can read whatever the fuck you want whether it's isekai slop or something good that EOPs don't know about

that's still something that OP is too much of a faggot to do
nope, just bitch and keep that manga dead by not posting it or even a link to it
hey OP this is how you get dead manga

This is a thinly visited veiled recc thread

The only option is to learn nip ouselves and buy the raws,
How might we learn this skill oh wise rawchads of /a/?

Ok? What are you so butthurt about?

wasn't there some big controversy over one of the learning guides?
>>
>>282327436
It depends on what access you want for the raws.
If you want to remove DRM then Kobo is a good option for beginners.
If you don't care about DRM then Bookwalker can have more attractive deals.
For Eromanga those can be an option but some releases get a lot of additional censorship. DLsite and DMM have less censorship but outside of doujinshi the quality can be worse.
If you're into Kirara series you have to consider Comic FUZ. The magazines have better quality there and are available earlier. Additionally the chapter releases for 4koma have better quality than the digital volumes.
>>
>>282327625
That actually seems pretty simple assuming international payments don't get blocked somehow.
Now I just need to learn the runes and language well enough to use them.
>>
>>282327003
Personally I think genki sucks and we should stop recommending it

https://www.irodori.jpf.go.jp/en/index.htmthis is much better after having used both. Genki is too school focused for an adult
>>
>>282327782
>.irodori.
Is that the doujin killer?
>>
>>282327693
For Kobo you can literally pick up gift cards in a local store for payment since they operate in the whole western world.
Bookwalker, DMM and Kobo work with Paypal.
With credit cards, VISA and American Express should work for those as well. DMM is currently not accepting Mastercard directly, though you can use it via Paypal. For certain content you may be required to purchase points as an intermediate.
DLsite is less straight forward if you don't have access to JCB or other Japanese services. You have to use third party sites to purchase points cards.

>>

Irodori(彩り)is an actual word you know right? Colouration..
But no this is sponsored from the government and from the same company that makes marugoto. It's targeting people who want to work in Japan for the 5 yeah specialized visas which you need to know a certain amount of Japanese to obtain
>>
>>282327912
OK now that actually sounds pretty good.
>>
>>282327931
I wish it got recommended more honestly. Genki feels insufferable after using it. I feel like everything I was learning with my sensei was important rather then fucking around it helps you learn sol manga faster as well since it focuses on daily life (meaning you'll have an easier time with travel as well).

I just really enjoyed learning with it. They correspond to euro fluency levels as well a,b,c. I switched to intermediate marugoto after it but the page seems to indicate they're making a bridge to intermediate now.
>>
>>282326399
so... is it good?
>>
>>282326399
oh, it finally had a cover
I remember adding its entry to MU when it came out
honestly tried reading through (with mtl), but it was too japanese that I got filtered.
>>
>>282326399
Learn Japanese or stop posting on /a/ no one without an N3 should be allowed here

It's an isekai where magic works by answering cryptic quiz show questions, I think your enjoyment will be significantly affected by whether or not you like that kind of stuff

Only took him 6 years to return to work. Did he make mad bank with Yugami and live off of it?

Sensei, Watashi wo Koroshite has no translations. I feel like it's a bit of a shame.

lmao, it was niche as shit. The author couldn't get another series and had to work as an assistant until last year.

I'm reading it, it's pretty mediocre so far. Interesting idea though. Hopefully it actually goes somewhere interesting.

The banishing pof djt from /a/ had dire consequences

good to know, I've been fumbling along for a few years never making much progress then dropping it. all I have for now are a few notable kanji and the kana
>>
>>282337065
summary?
>>
>>282336892
If you want to catch up you need to buy the volumes.
And you need to stock up on the chapters because they become unavailable before you get the chance to link up. When volume 1 with the first 5 chapters came out in July, chapter 6 and 7 had already become unavailable in the web version. You'd have to use the appli to read them otherwise.
>>
>>282338098
Tanks are the better way to read these things, monthly is hell
>>
>>282339166
I read mostly monthly manga and it doesn't bother me.
>>
People keep saying just learn jap, but it'll years and years to get enough to be a translator.
>>
>>282339955
I don't mind monthly or bimonthly magazines but I can't get into chapter releases.

>>282340518
You don't have to become a translator to begin reading. Reading itself is key to become good.
>>
>>282337620
try irodori then. they have an app you can use but i go to their excel sheets and input the words to cards myself. What they do that other book's don't is give you the pitch accent as well. it's in the extra materials/resource tab. it'll be an excel file that you can sort by lesson
Sorry if it seems like I'm shilling this too much but this was the only book series I learned a lot from and had success with. (on top of it being completely free with a ton of resources)
>>
>>282326399
A shame this wasn't picked up since Yugami is one of my favorite sol manga but the subject of this one looks much more niche so I doubt anyone will translate this.

There is this pretty mediocre borderline-porn loli witch manga and I know why nobody bothered translating this so far, but I still have to think of it every now and then.

The Yugami mangaka is female.
