Kaiju? monsters are CGI
Dandadan? Monsters are CGI
Demon Slayer? CGI
Nowadays, you can't have monsters or mecha if they're not CGI
Why did the anime industry shills normalize this shit in anime

Cheaper to animate, brainless normalfags don't care, they even say that it looks great. That's how it goes

That looks great to be fair. And good animation of Kaijus and Mech has always been rare.

Nothing made digitally deserves being called anime. Anime was only ever made in cells. All the rest is garbage

3DCG is cancer and used when the animators lack the talent to animate something in 2D or the production committee want to save money. It's the thing that ruined modern anime. It's always ugly compared to the 2D art, and it always clashes with the 2D art.

I was actually impressed by how much of Dandadan was hand drawn. The gig worker's alien mothership, the giant worm monster, and both the kaiju and mecha-buddha in the latest ep, were all hand drawn, and they looked fine. The flatwoods monster did look weird, but I thought that might have been a deliberate choice.

i don't understand why it looks so bad? to be hero x shows that it can look great so why does it always look like dogshit in anime?
