Well, it's over. Good run overall. They actually went in a different direction from what I expected, cutting out Sakura's post-game encounter with Yuu and the whole sleepover, and significantly extending the last game instead. And the stuff after that would almost count as an anime original ending, although vague enough that you could still continue the manga story fairly easily if they ever decide to do more seasons (especially with the teaser at the end). Anyway, all the big Miwa moments came out well, and the original gags they added were fun enough, so I've no problems with this ending. I do hope that they continue the anime eventually, since they didn't get to many of my favorite arcs yet.

>>282337189The problem is, in the manga, Miwa's second and third wins are resolved in less than a page, and the story progresses from her celebrating with the others to Yuu confronting Sakura to encourage her after her loss, which directly leads into a sleepover that would have taken another whole episode to adapt. They apparently didn't have enough episodes to do that, so they had to make up some anime-original stuff to have some kind of point to end the story on. They probably included the bit with Sakura at the end to make it easier for a potential second season to include the stuff that they had to cut.
