what is happening: (non spoiler) It seems like there is zero connectivity to the previous episode. The subjectivity of the main character is in some way compromised and over the course of the episode it is revealed through A SEPARATE character what has happend and why the mind of the main character is not reliable anymore. Up to the end and past the resolve it remains ambiguous whether a 3rd party is responsible or not. and these events start the final act.the show has some vr unique (and very strong character) episodes but this one really stands out. never seen anything comparable since.
not conceptually ambitious but god damn the pacing and emotional construction of episode 15 in Re:zero was insane. i felt the last scene down to my bones.
i have not seen "Monster" yet but it looks like that one also has a plot that lends itself to impressive episodes.
