Well, finale time next week guys, reminder episodes 12 and 13 are back to back for one big special so its basically just one last episode.>What were you're overall thoughts on the season? Were there any parodies you wanted them to do and are disappointed they did?I personally thought it was incredible that this series came back and with this much quality and soul, made by the og guys and actors and it really does feel like a proper continuation. Just that much made this an amazing watch but almost all of it was superb quality too. The animation, the jokes, the moments, they were really all pumping at max power.I think Season 1 is still a more "special" and distinct piece of media. Season 1 of PSG has a certain perfect mix of professional production and internet adult cartoon that makes it such a glorious thing. Season 2 is more towards the professional production camp but still with all the soul. Its less unique but incredibly awesome. I felt some parodies did miss the mark compared to Season 1, primarily the fast and furious segment and the Conan segment, mainly because they changed the cast so much for them (or lacked them entirely) to the point there was nothing gripping me, but those were the exception and the rest of the parodies were excellent.I am quite disappointed though that we didn't get a proper D City Rock follow up. That MV I feel is a very core part of PSG and a perfect showcase of everything awesome about this show and I really think season 2 should have had an MV. We did get a musical episode but it didn't have a proper studio MV. Surpringly I liked the Chuck segment the most, let's be clear it was nothing amazing, but at least it was weird enough to be interesting.I really did not care for the Indiana Jones segment. There were some fun parts and cool moments, but it was just lacked a strong idea that went beyond the parody. At one point it seemed to go somewhere with the woman-hating spirit possessing Brief, but that nothing came out of it. Also as much as it's cool seeing the demon sisters act villainous again, this was a good opportunity to have the angel bros as antagonists since they've been generally underused.The Stocking segment started poorly by relying too heavily on references, but this time it actually went somewhere with her backstory with Garterbelt. It's a shame that the episode looked so cheap, it was outsourced to china and it moved about as poorly as the beach episode in season 1. It some more effort went into it it could have been nice.Overall weakest episode of the season, it wouldn't have felt such a waste if they aired it randomly a few weeks ago, but just before the finale I wanted more meaningful character focus. Why didn't we see the gang hang out with GSB more, it's nice that her and Stocking became friends but Brief was the one most familiar with her and they haven't exchanged more than a couple lines.
