Final chapter! I don't want it to end!Chapter 57: Breakfast at the Vivarium
Done. In a way, this is the true end of the Vivarium daily, only 18 months after its first conclusion. In a way, I feel a lot about this manga as I do about Oddman 11 (which is not a bad thing). It was a little disjointed, and the plot is messy, but it has a lot of heart, and some of my favorite Dowman lolis. Special mention to Yoki's relationship with Raimon, which is extremely sweet. Did you like the manga? Favorite chapter? What could it have done better? What did you love and what did you hate? Any lingering thoughts? Is Yoki still fertile?Expect a daily The Dungeon That Kills All Adventurers at some point, but probably in a few months, after Ito and the following manga.

Honestly I liked the manga quite a bit the whole way through, didn’t realize there’d be so many (relatively) negative opinions. Besides the ending feeling rushed.

Melancholia is one of my favorite mangas of tome because nothing is wasted.Vivarium started out the same, which things like the random line from Raimon about the "world of the 22nd century" but quickly dropped everything. Kikuri never really had a ending, and I think she was clearly supposed to have some sort of inheritance from Nagi. (Unrequited yuri poor person who likes baths -> rich princess who owns hotspeings who did recognise her feelings with Yoki). Boss having a soul / Yoki being able to be alive in a cloned body with the same soul never came up again when I feel it was supposed to play into her immortality in this chapter feels kinda missed.Douman is far, far tighter than this. But this is what happened when you are cancelled. Red wants to be a pure ecchi manga at this point and they even axed its second biggest manga randomly to replace it with slug loli ecchi.
