2 years until Gyomei ENTERS
>>282372516>biggest guy with the most muscles wasn't a jobber fed to the big bad for onceLove that
>>282372516Woah! Another generic villain with a generic sad flashback that will be defeated with a generic power up. Can't wait!
>>282372659Actually not what happens in the Kokushibo fight.
>>282372659Yeah, Movie 2 is definitely not something you can throw this on>Born psychopath>Second fiddle
>>282372516I hope ufotable won't make this movie any worse than the first one. Kokushubō vs. Hashira (and Genya) mustn't be worse than legendary-tier.
>>282372737I don't believe it's possible for it to be bad. Unless they go batshit and decide to make it a Bollywood TikTok video
>>282372516Why did the author take Akaza's backstory straight out of an Uziga Waita manga? Read it, it's the same story. Is Croc a guro ryona enjoyer? Spooky.
>>282372659>buzzword buzzword buzzword
>>282372699>KokushiboThe only good thing in the infinity castle.
>>282372737My only concern is how the flashbacks will play out. If people thought this movie had a crazy amount of flashbacks, ho boy.
>>282372766Same, but I'm worried it won't have enough epicness and extra scenes fleshing out the manga content more. Good visuals and faithful story? Yes, but without any improvements allowed by the format (movie) I will be disappointed.
>>282372659>t. retard-kun>>282372793Agreed. This arc had cool moments and backstories, but they pale in comparison to UM1's part of it.
I know the overabundance of flashbacks will be inevitable given the following fights. But the only thing that i hope is that whoever directs this shit finally learns a little more about scene progression; some flashbacks could be presented in a row instead of little pieces now and then, disrupting the momentum of the battle. Also to remove unnecesary dialogue. I know it's a shonen and everything, but for any ages, the moment you spent 5 minutes narrating what the spectators can already see with their own fucking eyes, it becomes terribly obnoxious. That kind of internal dialogue might work for the manga medium, but you can skip it in a film and let your actors, you know, ACT.This last movie could have been like 30 min shorter of they applied this correctly.
>>282372802I hope they will be done properly for the movie. What worked in the manga can be tiring to watch in the movie format. I loved the first movie, but by the time Akaza's flashback started, I was beginning to feel simply tired of another story being told in the middle of a fight.
>>282372883I agree. Especially with>This last movie could have been like 30 min shorter of they applied this correctly.This. With a good scene progression that is movie could've been both faithful to the story told in the manga, and dynamic enough to be engaging to watch.
>>282372883>Also to remove unnecesary dialogue. I know it's a shonen and everything, but for any ages, the moment you spent 5 minutes narrating what the spectators can already see with their own fucking eyes, it becomes terribly obnoxious. You vastly overestimate the intelligence of modern audiences. The characters can spout off exactly what they're doing and a second later some retard will ask UHH WHAT'S HAPPENING?
>>282372516Someone actually animated the fight in 3d https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yB3WG4ipn0M
>>282373019I see your point, yet scenes with things like>"character is already gasping for air, his eyeballs blood red and his hands shaking">Dialogue: " oh man, i'm struggling hard to breath after that last punch, i'm bleeding hard and i can barely hold my sword"and similar can totally be skipped. And i'm not even complaining about the slow motion bits during any fight so everyone can chant the following special move instead of just doing it that's typical shonen bullshit and therefore somewhat tolerableAgain, i get that these dialogues exist in the manga as the drawings can not move so descripting everything helps to understand the scene development. But in a animated film you have more tools to your disposal, to not use them is simply silly
ENTERGODjima
>>282373311Never realised it until now that Gyomei doesnt have sideburns like in the manga.
UFO won't fix shit. The movies are just season 5.They are literal TV episodes glued together, and they are directed as such.People WILL fell tired by the end of each movie, they WILL complain about the pacing, and they WILL pay for the next one all the same. UFO is going in the opposite direction of the Haikyuu crew and telling every casual to fuck themselves while taking their money. They aren't cutting or changing anything they'd do in seasonal format, and daring people to boycott the movies if they don't agree with it.It's honesty a shameless power move, and they WILL get away with it.
>>282372516They have so much money WHY the two year wait!?
So out of curiosity, is the Genshin Impact anime just not going to come out until after 2029 when the trilogy is finished Like, wouldn’t miHoYo be kinda pissed? I’m a little paranoid UFOtable is gonna split attention between the two projects and have the other two IC movies come out worse, unless they just don’t care about releasing the Genshin thing in 2031
>>282373948Sad words, but these are words of truth. I enjoy KnY anime in general but at the same time I see some of direction choices to be underwhelming.
>>282374044The trilogy is getting Ufotable's undivided attention. They arent a massive studio with a B team like Mappa or Bones.
>>282373948>miss opportunity to fix several issues in the Swordsmith Village arc>miss opportunity to give even more content to the Hashira Training arc>fans still hope to see movies improved, compared to the mangaI think some people just like to cope.
>>282373948Based ufotable. Forcing zoomers to pay attention
>>282374223I was disappointed they didn't give Mitsuri any moments that developed her character in the training arc. or really give her anything outside of feeding Tanjiro pancakes and making him stretchit would have been cool to see how Rengoku influenced her in some way since he trained her and all
>>282374866He only trained her ass-hole
>>282374866Yeah, I also wished to see more scenes with her. Or even Obanai. This arc was good to flesh them out, even if just a little, before the final showdown. Tokito got cool extra moments, but they made only the situation with Mitsuri more unfair. Stretches and pancakes vs. the whole Tokito subplot during the Hashira Training. It's laughable.
>>282374195>They arent a massive studiowait, really? i know they're not churning out a dozen series a year like A-1 but i thought an old and reputable studio like UFO would be pretty big
2026: Infinity Castle tv version2027: Infinity Castle Part 22028: Infinity Castle Part 2 tv version2029: Infinity Castle Part 32030: Infinity Castle Part 3 tv version + epilogue
>>282377500Reminder that even with a 3-hour movie there's still the very distinct possibility that the 3rd movie either ends at the Muzanjiro reveal or right after Tanjiro gets cured, and the epilogue gets showed as a TV episode to "justify" cutting up the movies in a season.
>>282377500Well have 9-hour compilation premieres for 2030
