My favorite manga of all time. So infinitely charming, I don't have the time nor words but this series is mad special to me and I adore this arc especially, the entire raid on garan castle with armorless kakugo is pure kino. It really is full throttle until the end. I've always akined Apocalypse Zero to the game God Hand, they have a similar spirit.
Its really interesting how genuinely silly the manga is compared to the reputation the OVA gave the series in the west.

Im really confused about something here, hopefully someone can fill me in. Chidikuro is supposedly based on the Berserk character Femto, Femto was basically a blip early in that manga and this series was being made during berserks golden age and the eclipse wouldnt happen untill right before this series finished its run.Despite the similar look i dont actually see how Femto had that much of an impression to inspire this character at that time.Am i missing something here?
