The color palette of the anime is too bland, but it compensates with the OST, just hear Creeping Shadows, it's honestly so soothing and mesmerizing, too good for shonenslop.

I'm started bleach recently (old man now) and so much of the anime is filler after filler and DBZ type stuff where half of the 20 mins is just characters smirking at each other.

By default the manga is better
