I bought Promare on blu-ray off of Amazon.co.uk and they sent pic rel
>>282425081Pic rel is the image used of the Promare blu ray on the Amazon page I bought my copy of Promare from.
Dunno. Flip it over. Let's see the back. That's usually the giveaway.
>>282425081The design is from a companion book, so it looks sketchy
I wouldn't discount a recent re-release that changed the cover art (although the lack of an age rating on the front makes it questionable). Show the back cover.
>>282425439Here's the back. I haven't been able to find any images of this edition (if it is legitimate) online.
>>282425496Also, I could be wrong but the cover of the blu ray gives me the vibe that this was removed from a special/limited edition version's slipcase and sold by itself, I could be wrong though.
The cover might be dual-sided, take it out of the amaray case and flip it? I have a few AllTheAnime releases and I think some of them have reversible coversSaying that, Amazon is full of bootlegs so I wouldn't be surprised eitherNice on the R&C Trilogy collection btw
>>282425496This is absolutely REALLY bizarre. The back cover is identical to the actual release, but two of the images were changed. I could see an official update doing something like this, but I have no idea why a bootlegger would...That said, if there were a PEGI rating on the cover, I'd lean toward the company just quietly updating the cover art for a new printing. But the lack of one means something is going on.
>>282425584I'm leaning more towards bootleg myself, with a facsimile cover. I looked into it and the image here >>282425496 matches the back of the collector's edition, which was a chipboard box with a digipak inside.https://blog.alltheanime.com/unboxing-promare/
Also forgot to mention, the back of the case is dated 2020.
>>282425081Which seller did you buy it from
>>282425700If it's a reversible cover like I alluded to above you then only one side legally needs the BBFC rating (and has to be the public-facing one in-store), so doesn't automatically discount itt. worked in HMV>>282425745Yeah I checked that against Blu-Ray.com and it only lists one standard edition release, the initial one from 2020 (though the site tends to be a bit more comprehensive with US releases)
>>282425081Just look at the disc. It's not hard at all to tell a professionally pressed Blu-Ray from a PC burned copy.Unless you think there are jeets using insanely expensive stolen equipment to make 1:1 bootlegs of anime movies.
>>282425755
>>282425833seller was just amazon.co.uk
>>282425833>>282425856Amazon has been plagued by people returning bootlegs and cases with the wrong discs recently, so I wouldn't say even their own outlet is dependable
>>282425815Anon. Even in America, there are services where you can order professional-grade printed blurays fairly cheap. They're even cheaper in bootleg-heavy countries like India and China.Especially if the scam is to order 1000 blurays off Amazon, then get a refund and return the fakes. Most of the time, all you need to get away with it is high enough quality covers/discs that whoever's glancing over the product at Amazon goes "yep, it's here" and tosses them in a pile.
>>282426131Anon, you're a fucking retard.
Inside of case
Isn't this that gay faggot anime?
>>282426262See >>282425609
>>282425081Is the back of the disc black because bootleg Blu Rays are burnt copies.
>>282425081>>282426262Useless fucking thread
>>282426262It's reversible. The inside slip matches the storefront image you posted. Should have just opened it first instead of wasting everyone's time.
>>282426326I opened it before making this thread :^)
I own a bootleg copy of FMA, I got it off eBay for 30 bucks and turned out to be fake but it works and the real version cost like 70 bucks so I have no issues.
You're fucking retarded OP.
>>282426301based on this OP...probably
>>282426349It's an in exact copy.
>>282426301You need to be more specific since we have a gay faggot general on /a/
>>282425081Can't you easily demand a refund and get it no questions asked?A friend of mine bought what was listed as a Lithium Iron battery from eBay which was actually a Lithium Ion battery. The seller probably didn't know the difference, or English at all. Recieved a full refund and was permitted to keep what was probably a $100 battery for free. I'm not too familiar with Amazon but the buyer usually wins in all these return/defect cases.
>>282425081switch games and PS3 clanking remaster bait completely unacknowledged
>>282426262It took you 40mins to do what I suggested and what you should've done before even coming here. Makes sense a complete and utter retard would want Promare on home video
In other news the cover of my copy of Citrus was not reversible after all and is just a different revision that is less sexy than the advertised one that made me buy it sight unseenshould have just pirated it and then bought it because as a show it's so fucking hot
