It's not so much about whether the pacing of this arc is bad rather than what it means for the future of the manga. This is Kuramori's first attempt at juggling a larger cast and it's unlikely to be the last. We'll probably get some arcs with fewer moving pieces but generally things will only get more complicated from here on out.Compression is an important skill and Kuramori is good but not super great at it. Angvall's death also felt like it took forever when it was happening. As long as the chapters are entertaining on a consistent basis it's not a huge dealbreaker for me, but this trend is probably gonna get worse, not better.
