>>282461419It would be strange and I probably wouldn't like itIf I wanted to see live action footage of birds I would go look at live action footage of birds. One of the primary reasons I watch anime is for the animation (crazy concept, I know) and I would prefer if the studio put forth their best when it comes to the core concept of the show. In HibiMeshi, for example, I was able to forgive the rest of the animation being sub-par and merely serviceable because the actual food montage animation was quite good. I would of course like for the entire show to be good looking, but if I cant have that I would atleast have the gimick be good. Using live action with the obvious excuse of "it's to do le justice to le birbs" is a copout I would not accept
