Appmon's final arc is literally just "what if we redid the D-Reaper without the lame and boring parts i.e. most of it."

The biggest and most glaring reason the D-Reaper is a dogshit antagonist is that all it does is sit there nonthreateningly and the cast still waffle for eight episodes before actually doing anything, same reason Ordinemon from Tri sucked ass. Leviathan is an infinitely superior retrain of the D-Reaper purely because it has actual goals and works toward them.
