What do you guys think of a world where Light never got the notebook, or one where he simply didn't go full on "egomaniacal-madman?"

Partially, the notebook could have entered the world and someone else may have picked it up rather than Light.

But that idea's interesting as well. Light becoming a detective naturally and eventually meeting L to work together rather than trying to kill one another is a possibility as well.
