From day 1, the Jojo anime has ALWAYS been effectively a powerpoint presentation of the panels from the manga with just enough connective tissue between them so that it technically counts as animation. At every step of the way David Productions have abdicated the responsibility of making any creative decisions at all and instead just opted to "do whatever the manga did", rather than actually attempt to ADAPT the story into a new medium. The anime's greatest (and frankly only) strength has always been sound design and music, which hard carries their mediocre animation so hard that it only barely makes it even worth bothering with at all.Don't bother responding with cherrypicked stills/sequences, go back and actually watch Stardust Crusaders and you'll see that the quality of the animation has always been "just functional enough to get the job done".

personally i am disappointed by the colour palette. i expected it too look different than the previous part to capture better the western aspect of the manga, the mega colourful outfits and bright blue sky are throwing myself off.

Araki also loves to edgypost with them, and then have them not actually do anything bad.
