I love Rozen Maiden far too much and i simply can't move on and get on with my life. That final episode of Traumend devastated me to the core and I've been crying a lot for weeks now. Please help me, please talk to me about this show. I just want to see all of the dolls having a good time, i want to see them playing house and enjoying themselves. I need Suiseiseki and Hinaichigo to be safe and sheltered, I want to help them and save them from their horrible demise.And don't even get me started on Kukui's song and the show's soundtrack in general - it's so captivating and compelling. Please Nomad just please continue this show im begging you! Just make season three and pick up where you left off exactly the way you'd been doing it before! Oh God help me please

(It wasn't emptily edgy for shock value like I was worried it would be before someone with excellent taste gave it their highest recommendation!) The horror beats and tension were well-done, but all the downtime hanging out with your fun delightful buds on a hot, lazy summer make gives everything the sad, tragic weight of a family breaking up when things get sour. (It also helps that a really long VN like Higurashi has lots of time to just let the characters loaf around and hang out, whereas I'm sure the show's gonna have to compromise some of that fun with friends time to get through all the plot beats within the allotted number of episodes.)If that sounds like it might be up your alley, I think you'll have a great time with it! (You could also watch the LAMBDADELTOplaythroughs on Youtube if you want to see the original VN instead of installing the 07th-Mod.)

It's great that we share something in common because while you haven't watched RM yet, we're both into Higurashi. People often claim the VN is better than the anime, I dunno if that's the case. Also I totally get where you're coming from with that concern about the whole thing being intentionally nothing but gore for the sake of gore, but surely they managed to fit some profound thoughts in there as well. Some romance and a proper love story between several characters is what Higurashi would truly benefit if you ask me, maybe you also feel that way. Hopefully you read it all with the 07th mod installed from the get go because honestly it only improves things since it gives you access to the console sprites which I'd say are the cutest and sleekest

("Fate is as easy to rip as wet paper" has particularly stuck with me since and even been motivational for me to get off my ass and do some things I've been putting off for a long while!) I used the 07th mod myself with the original sprites (I love the soulful look of the washed-out photo backgrounds and the blobby baseball-mitt handed sprites), but the console sprites grew on me as well when I'd switch over to see how a scene looked with the different sprites and backgrounds. A romance angle certainly would've been cute and delightful imo, but I think what we got was great for the story it was telling. Plus, the secret golden ending's spiel about how you can put together fragments however you wish (including indulging in whatever shipping you please) is a very nice license to encourage readers to take, so you really can go ham with all the daydreaming you wish in that regard!
