DanDaDan is quickly speedrunning becoming the latest flop of a series. The boardgame arc was wayyy to long for what is was, but okay it happens to all series as they go on that arcs get longer. Then we got like 6 more cast members in the span of two arcs. The we litteraly jumped the fucking shark but okay at least we see the worm people again so we are going to tie up that loose end or at least get a hint how it will progress right? Nope. Nothing. For a few chapter however, Momo will likely be more distant and slow on the uptake, so she might get left out of strategical meetings.Sot this arc might be an occasion to showcase interactions between the rest of the gang and solidify them as a group. The previous arcs - by spitting the group in two - have shown us again that they can have some fun dynamics.Now that the gang is likely complete, it would make sense to make the cast feel more organically intertwined and bound before moving on to the juice of the plot. Turbo Granny is arguably the only one who wasn't redeemed per se but she did end up having an attachment to the main cast and as Seiko said at the end of the first arc what she was doing wasn't intrinsically bad but while the living shouldn't disrespect the dead spirits also shouldn't attack the living indiscriminately. Hase is one of the few antagonists who genuinely had no reason to attack beyond hatred and if the Kur or the pervy rapist teacher weren't redeemed then he shouldn't be either.
