Savers and Appmon are infinitely superior to Tamers because they are actually well-constructed shows that actually utilize their casts and give them character arcs, which Tamers routinely forgets to do, and in particular they don't flub the ending due to being out of ideas like Tamers did, rather they have actually well-written finales that follow through on the character arcs and themes established previously.Barely any of the characters have arcs aside from Ruki, and maybe Takato if you squint a bit.The entire ending to Tamers is complete nonsense.Jian spins in a hole which literally any of the Ultimate level Digimon could have done at any point and because Konaka is a hack that doesn't understand physics. This was negated by the random diabolus ex machina spontaneously deciding to devo them. This is unrelated to the dumbass reason given for why the cast get separated from their partners, which as a reminder, is that the red card synchronized the four main humans and digimons' natural frequency to that of the D-Reaper, so the finishing blow also affected themselves. Why, you may ask, does this affect digimon other than Guilmon Terriermon Renamon and Monodramon? The answer is: because they didn't think this through.Tamers sucked so badly it nearly killed the entire franchise before Frontier but yet everyone acts like it's magically the best despite having awful writing.
