this was one of the most batshit manga I've ever read. really confusing in the beginning, but the ending was nice and satisfying. definitely need to reread at some pointhas /a/ read The World Is Mine by Arai Hideki? what did you think of it?
Action was good everything else was dogshit. I didn't enjoy any of it. Fire Punch does it better
>>282516618I enjoyed it! But, part of its batshit nature also meant it was quite messy, at times I wasn't fully invested in some of the characters which propped up, like the reporter who drew dicks in his notebook. But it has a ton of memorable scenes, and just loved to see how a character like Toshi just devolved, the scene in the hotel still makes me grimace a bit. And still, like it a lot since it introduced me to Arai Hideki, and a lot of what I liked in this manga I enjoyed in his other works, the way he depicts the rawness of human emotions. Why I liked Kiichi a lot (and to a lesser extent Kiichi vs.). I'll need to get around reading some of his other works
>>282517928the action-pose detective and the spitty detective were a bit much, I agree. I liked the journalist tho, his obsession with dicks was pretty funny. But this manga was one hell of a journey, definitely gonna read his other stuff too.
one of the more unique manga out there.
I affirm myself bump
