this was one of the most batshit manga I've ever read. really confusing in the beginning, but the ending was nice and satisfying. definitely need to reread at some point

has /a/ read The World Is Mine by Arai Hideki? what did you think of it?

Action was good everything else was dogshit. I didn't enjoy any of it. Fire Punch does it better

I enjoyed it! But, part of its batshit nature also meant it was quite messy, at times I wasn't fully invested in some of the characters which propped up, like the reporter who drew dicks in his notebook. But it has a ton of memorable scenes, and just loved to see how a character like Toshi just devolved, the scene in the hotel still makes me grimace a bit.
And still, like it a lot since it introduced me to Arai Hideki, and a lot of what I liked in this manga I enjoyed in his other works, the way he depicts the rawness of human emotions. Why I liked Kiichi a lot (and to a lesser extent Kiichi vs.). I'll need to get around reading some of his other works

the action-pose detective and the spitty detective were a bit much, I agree. I liked the journalist tho, his obsession with dicks was pretty funny. But this manga was one hell of a journey, definitely gonna read his other stuff too.

one of the more unique manga out there.

I affirm myself bump
