Alright now that I've gotten all of the OST autism out of the way I can talk about what I feel about S2. I don't have a glowing pile of vomit to throw out but I hope I'm not taken as trolling but it is what it is.The last episode was inarguably a mess, and I think that it is a compressed example about my issues with S2. S2 has plenty of good ideas that are more often than not fumbled in execution. The pacing is constantly way too fast because the episodes have too many characters to fit in without it bordering on turning into a wall of noise with no breaks at all between character dialogue. That isn't altogether too far from the pacing of S1, but with only that much more crowding it made some episodes kind of exhausting for me.The animation is worse than S1 in a lot of area, even a lot of the highlight moneyshots were kind of weak in my opinion. When it comes to the action, again a lot of good ideas, but still nothing really matched Les Diaboliques in S2. The only episodes that really had well done action sequences were Episode 6 and the premiere.Garterbelt is the worst casualty in S2, if it was just the lips I would have been able to look past it but he had a whole third of his character excised with there being no molester priest jokes. Scanty & Kneesocks are my favorite characters from S1 so I don't really have any room to complain seeing as how I won the screentime lottery in S2, but with them losing out on their adverserial bent I feel like a lot of charm from their original character is lost. It's still there in pieces and the Temple of Doom episode used them perfectly but it was more of a highlight than it was the norm.The episodes in S2 leaned way, way harder into the movie references and this is another thing that is present in S1 so it may seem hypocritical to call them out in S2, but I think it got out of hand here. A lot of the time in S1 you'd have some vague theming or just a pun to connect from the title card to the plot of the episode.
