Reifrens, what was your reaction to Eva 2.0’s ending the first time you saw it, and if you saw it in theatre the audience’s reaction too. For me it was one of the few times a movie made me cry, I really thought it would be too good to be true and I was so happy for both of them. Then of course Anno decides to betray my trust instantly like I feared he would, but the scene was so good I hardly care.

Was the dummy system actually worked out in the story of the original or did they just throw a curve ball at the last minute? I don't get how it was supposed to be the Reis.
