I'm glad that everyone agrees Fullmetal Alchemist was overrated and that Kokoro By Natsume Soseki was the better story from Japan.
No I really enjoyed the manga, haven't watched any anime though. I don't remember this gag being in the manga. I mean these specific faces. I think FMA has a lot of interesting things to say about the human soul, war, and the quest for truth and knowledge.
