yep rewatching the first ep of the original it was a lot better and also established some critical plot points like toshi wanting to propose to hitomi once he catches cat's eye and them stealing the stuff because its their father's collection and lots of small other things they forgot to mention in the reboot so far
This is a Cat's Eye thread so I guess I'll mention it but good lord Cat's Eye vs Lupin was such a horrible movie like a get Lupin is a world class thief but the way Lupin and his gang outclassed the Cat's Eye to the point that they felt fodder didn't sit well with me
