>>282585149First is character relationships. They all develop in ways that aren't quite well thought out. Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke all have some weird and kinda underwhelming stuff between them, and it could have been a lot better if where it went had been better set up and better followed through. Second is the impact of world building elements on the world and story, like powers and tech. So many things build up that aren't quite as fleshed out as they should be, making everything feel poorly put together and leaving lots of small questions that result in a large heap of unsatisfying answers. Then there's the general pacing of the thing, I feel like so much time and attention was taken away from important things and given to ideas that should have not made it into the story. The aliens for example really didn't do anything but power scale.
